MINNEAPOLIS MOST LITERATE CITY
CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY - Drawing from a variety of data, the America's Most Literate Cities study ranks the 69 largest cities (population 250,000 and above) in the United States. The study is based on six indicators: newspaper circulation, number of bookstores, library resources, periodical publishing resources, educational attainment, and Internet resources. Here's the 2007 list, which finds Minneapolis pushing Seattle to second place.
