I would LOVE to see all of these candidates in the debates and freer ballot access for all candidates. I don't understand why the states have any say in who is on the ballot for federal positions.

I would like to see some debates between the third party candidates with invitations extended to Obama and McCain. I know that these debates would expand the issues of the country beyond the present issues of the major two parties. Is anyone planning to have such debates? The sooner the better.

I think most would agree we NEED a third party. The shame is: IT WON'T HAPPEN. PROOF>>>>> look at how these candidates don't seem able to get themselves together enough to form the third choice. Instead they splinter the choices so that not a one of them can WIN !!! How many voters are going to vote for someone(s) who can't win. C'mon people get it together, choose ONE of you to put out front and bring in all your fragmented support. Hell, you can all get picked for some "Secretary of something important" job. (Sigh) Like I said.....Never Hoppen....TOO BAD !!!!

Wouldn't it at least be possible to broadcast a third party debate online, even if the MSM is too cosy to the Democrats and Republicans to go along with it?

I hate the whole fake "center" of political views that allegedly lies half way between the two main parties but the points in this article suggest that there could be a much more interesting "center" position between the alternative parties, that might even get the support of a majority people...
