The senator from the darling state of the Free State movement being nominated for Secretary of Commerce--can the Libertarian/Business-as-usual crowd get a bigger wet kiss?

I heard a theory that President Obama might nominate a Republican Senator, like Judd Gregg, who is from a state with a Democratic Governor like John Lynch from New Hampshire. Without knowing the specifics of how a Senator would be replaced in New Hampshire, a Democratic appointment with a Franken victory in Minnesota would give the Democrats the Magic 60.
