I'm awed when I think about the massive effort to keep this type of labor agitation out of the minds of americans. And you can see pretty obviously what the back up plan is if we do get uppity beyond control: swat teams and white phosphorous. All for a bunch of rich people who, ultimately, are just like the rest of us.
It's about half ironic that we'd be so damned good at revolution since we're so armed. And information is widely available to us. The bibles wouldn't help much but we could run the whole country out of the churches instead of the skyscrapers and the white house if we merely wanted to. Hell, you could do half of the planning online to run the country at this point. I mean, use the infastructure you got, right?
The military can't even keep baghdad under control no matter how many times they blow the place up. Imagine how absolutely impotent those uniformed brain stems would be if they had to take over their own country? The troops would lose their morale pretty damned quickly.
Those engineers at the pentagon better hurry up and get their killer, man hunting robots finished. They're probably gonna need em'.
