Telegraph, UK - Iran's President 'would support two-state solution' for Israel The Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has previously declared that Israel should be 'wiped off the map' Asked if he would support an agreement between the Palestinians and Tehran's arch enemy, he said: "Whatever decision they take is fine with us. We are not going to determine anything. Whatever decision they take, we will support that. We think that is the right of the Palestinian people, however we fully expect other states to do so as well."

Ahmadinejad never actually said that Israel should be "wiped off the map". That was debunked and shown to be an extremely ungenerous translation of a quotation in one of his speeches. And yet it is endlessly endlessly repeated as fact...

Well, that would confirm that he does indeed want to "wipe Israel from the map," since that is exactly and specifically what is stated in both the PLO and Hamas charters. In other words, if the Palestinians decide to continue to launch their illegal attacks on civilians, including children, he would support that. I gotta at least admire him for being honest about his real goals.
