CABLE NEWS ISN'T WHAT IT'S CRACKED UP TO BE
- The liberal news shows, which have dedicated themselves to a spitting contest with their Fox News opponents, are not doing well at all. Keith Olbermann has one third the viewers of O'Reilly; Rachel Madow get only 25%.
- But even if they were doing better, it wouldn't be make that much difference since top rated Bill O'Reilly reaches only slightly over one percent of the American population.
It might be helpful if MSNBC asked itself what sort of an approach could be more successful than an endless shouting match with the right - because it ain't working.
FOXNEWS O'REILLY 3,440,000
FOXNEWS HANNITY 2,937,000
FOXNEWS BECK 2,810,000
FOXNEWS GRETA 2,450,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 2,066,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 1,860,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 1,114,000
CNN KING 1,063,000
MSNBC MADDOW 885,000
CNN COOPER 827,000
MSNBC HARDBALL 640,000

Hey, Sam. I can't help but asking how many people read the review?
Characterizing MSNBC's hosts as "liberal" is misleading. MSNBC is to the Democratic party what FOX is to the Republican party.
GE is banking on the Obama money train.
No. Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow have news programs. O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity...all of those are partisan cesspools of anti-liberal filth and propaganda.
"The Drudge Report", Sam? Since when has that been a credible source of information? Why not go directly to the RNC and save time?
If it came from the Guardian, maybe okay, but Drudge? Drudge is a sink, Sam - just touch it and it starts draining your credibility.
Admissions against interest are credible in court, self-serving claims aren't.
Maybe liberals have decided that watching cable television is a gynormous waste of time.
why isn't msnbc news on regular cable like Fox & CNN
