WHY WE'RE HAVING THIS PROBLEM
A new Public Policy Polling survey finds that 39% of the American public thinks the government should 'stay out of Medicare.' Another 15% aren't sure.
Undernews is the online report of the Progressive Review, edited by Sam Smith, who covered Washington during all or part of one quarter of America's presidencies and edited alternative journals since 1964. The Review has been on the web since 1995. See main page for full contents

For the benefit of any foreign readers, Medicare is a public health care program run by the US government.
In other words, 39% of the people who took this poll are complete idiots who should probably be locked up for their own (and the public's) safety,
Or, they might only mean that politicians shouldn't meddle with it. We'd have to see the questions, to be sure.
