USA Today - Nearly a month into the fall college semester, the Department of Veterans Affairs has paid benefits for fewer than half the former Iraq and Afghanistan veterans requesting under the new post-9/11 G.I. Bill, according to a VA estimate. Keith Wilson, director of the VA Education Service office, said about half of the 50,000 veterans owed money for tuition and expenses have been paid. Another estimated 60,000 veterans are waiting for money under an older version of the G.I. Bill, Wilson says. "We realize we're not meeting everybody's expectations," he says.

Who the hell cares about a bunch of Americans who were willing to endanger their own lives to protect ours---let's keep educating (as well as proviving food, shelter, and medical care) all of the illegal immigrants who are draining the national treasury and sending as much as they can back to their native countries. For what they have cost this country already, we could have bought them all first class airline tickets home

Oh, please. Immigrants don't drain the treasury. The pentagon does that. Not to mention the fed. You should really focus your anger on someone who is actually guilty.

And when was the last time you bitched that american companies shouldn't be able to business in other countries? If GM, Ford, United Fruit, etc. etc. can do whatever they want in mexico, then mexicans should be able to come here and live.

Don't be so damned smug.
