GOP'S FAMILY VALUES DON'T EXTEND TO THE SIDEWALK

Reader Dave R lives at 3rd & C SE in Washington, two blocks from the Republican National Committee. He has to pass the headquarters in order to get to the Metro, which led him to this observation: "It certainly appears that the R's are only interested in their party, and that the interests of the country and its people definitely take a back seat. As it turns out, this applies to small issues as well as big ones. The RNC did not clear its sidewalks after last weekend's 16.6 inch snowfall."

Isn't there a city ordinance concerning the clearing of sidewalks in Washington?

Why didn't they clear the sidewalk? Are they just too cheap? Surely their platform of traditional values should have been enough to embarrass or pressure some underpaid individual to do their bidding... if not, you'd think a multi-billion dollar contract with some large international corporation involving an offshore account might have gotten the job done! Maybe the only problem here is that this project isn't designed to make lots of politically connected people stinkin' Rich!

Did they receive a citation?

Did they Pay? How much?

Did they get the violation "taken care of"? By whom?

Repugs...

There aughta be a Law.
