ROAD SIGNS

Mother Jones - According to a 2000 opinion poll, some 19 percent of us believed we were already members of the top one percent, while another 20 percent said they expected to get there someday.

Huffington Post - According to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, 71% of Americans do not feel that Palin is qualified to be President. That includes a sharp drop in Republican support, where 45% believe she is qualified compared to 66% who thought she was last fall. Overall, 37% have a favorable view while 55% have an unfavorable view of the former Alaska Governor.

Wall Street Journal - Overall, the number of San Francisco African-American residents has dropped from a peak of about 120,000, or 13% of the total city population, in 1980 to about 50,000, or 6% of the population, in 2008, according to Census and city officials. The decline hastened in the 1990s, when about 20% of the city's African-Americans exited even as San Francisco's overall population grew 7%, according to Census data.
